Aside from the 5 tips mentioned above, there are other ways to enrich your self-care routine. Creating a personal practice of self-expression and inward reflection will help you feel at your best. Setting aside even 30 minutes a week using one of these tools can greatly improve your well-being and put some zest in your soul.

One of my hobbies is making paper art. I like to create small paper mache sculptures and also create picture books utilizing cut images from magazines and personal photographs. When I get into the zone of doing art, it liberates my mind. The American Psychological Association says that working with our hands relaxes the mind and can help you solve problems because from this relaxed state our unconscious can better deliver what it thinks will help us. Picking up art is a great way to increase your wellness.
Spending Time with Quality Friends
Having friends is important for many reasons and can boost your sense of well-being. Friends provide support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. They can help you through difficult times and celebrate your achievements. Friends can also help you learn new things, expand your horizons, and challenge you to grow as a person. Planning ahead can help you have something to look forward to and take the pressure off of having to set aside the time.
